Exhibits
The LightWell project has been exhibited and presented in the following venues.
Local Focus: Boston Public Library
This educational display explained the drywell installations at the South End Library park.
Well Cap Prototype: AutoDesk BUILD Space
This simulation of a monitoring well illustrates the sensors and interactive well cap. A hand pump allows the user to interact with the display by changing water levels and observing the readings on the cap. Mayor Walsh got a tour of the space, including the LightWell display.
Interactive groundwater map: AutoDesk BUILD Space
This custom glass touch screen allows users to interact with 17 years of groundwater data in Boston. This display was part of the opening for AutoDesk's BUILD space in the Seaport District of Boston, on October 5th, 2016; and will remain in display until the exhibit moves to its new location.
Digitally fabricated prototype models: Harvard's Ceramics Studio Gallery
LightWell was featured in the "Made in Allston" exhibit at the Gallery of Harvard's Ceramics Studio. This event was organized by the Harvard Ed Portal, the Allston Arts District and the Office for the Arts at Harvard.
